Welcome, The
Windermere and Bowness Chamber of Trade members wish to see improvements
to the Ellerthwaite Square are of Windermere.
This area has been
under discussion a number of times over the last twenty years with no
change. The plans below are as a result of previous discussions in
the late 1990's and are put forward to start discussion.
WE hope to engage
with other interested parties such as Windermere Town Council, SLDC,
Cumbria CC, LDNPA, Windermere Civic Society, owners, etc.
We are interested
in receiving everyone's views and ideas prior to moving this matter on.

We appreciate that
in the long term nothing will be done without the appropriate finances
and the willingness of the appropriate authorities.
