National Trust Fishing Permit requirements

conjunction with the above leaflet and are provided by

Derwent Water
- Permit required for fishing but not for launching of canoes,
windsurfers or dinghies and rowing boats. No power craft. No
launching facilities.
Grasmere - Permit required for fishing &
available from:
Barneys News Box, Grasmere (open 7.00am - 6.00pm - Sunday

Grasmere Post Office ,Red Lion Square, Grasmere,
Cumbria LA22 9PZ Tel: 015394 35261 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
& Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm; Saturday & Thursday 9.00am -
12.30pm). Permits not required for boating - rowing boats only.
Yew Tree Tarn
- Fishing permits available from Sun Hotel, Coniston, LA21 8HQ -
Tel 015394 41248 and Nicholson's Sports, 3 Tilberthwaite Avenue,
Coniston, LA21 8ED. 015394 41639. No boats are permitted on
the tarn.
Harrowslack
- No fishing permit required for Windermere but there is a
launch fee for canoes, dinghies & non-powered boats -
information from property office on 015394 47997.
